No, no 221(g) and the medical had arrived. He said everything was fine and would get my passport back within 2 weeks. It's been 12 days and the only change that has happened is that it went from Immigrant to Nonimmigrant on Sep. 30th. Then something changed on Oct. 6th, but then it's been quiet.

Really strange ... Will keep my fingers crossed for you that it will change to AP and issued soon!

Thank you Georgia. My fiancée called the Embassy Support (or whatever it's called) and they could (obviously) not tell us anything. He gave us an address to send an email to and make another inquiry. So I did. Now its another waiting game. Ugh this is exhausting. I know something's wrong.

To be honest I really don't think it'll help you keep e-mailing them.

at least they are looking at your case (since dates updated).

Just keep an eye on the site. Our AP was for only 1/2 hour so it can go fast when they get to it.

Really? Because that's what I was thinking may have happened to us. Since I am sleeping on a somewhat American schedule I sleep each time they update so I always miss. Maybe it jumped from AP to READY and I just missed it.

Nope it'll go from AP to issued.

Don't think you have been in AP yet, but who knows.

I've seen many people say it goes from ready>ap>ready>ap So maybe it was our first AP. I don't know, I don't care. As long as we have the visa soon.

That's kind of what ours was like. First Ready when our case reached the embassy, then AP right after the interview until they received the medical results, then back to Ready for a couple of days, then Issued.

Hmmm thinking about it could be ours did the same ready-->AP--->ready---> issued.

It's been a few months so can't remember it totally so could be. Do remember that it was SO quick from change from AP to issued.

Yes it was quick from when they had all things needed until it said Issued. It did take a couple of days in our case but that was because of a stupid American holiday when nobody worked. :P

I don't know what's happening in SagaSm's case though, it seems odd to me too. The embassy in Sweden seems to have been very consistent, all of us went through more or less exactly the same thing. But his/her case is a bit out of the normal I'd say.

It definitely is weird. The CO said it'd take 2 weeks, and tomorrow is the 2-week mark. Maybe AP & Issued will happen then. Ahhhuughhhhh I don't know anymore

The website can be a little weird sometimes, I actually received my passport back in the mail before it said issued online.

Really? That's a little comforting at least.
