Aah erinomaista :)

Joudutko hakemaan passisi sielta vai suostuisiko ne myos lahettamaan kirjattuna tms?

Miten tuon kakkospassin hankkiminen olisi mahdollista? (Eli edelleen .. ettei tarvitse ottaa 3 viikon lomaa 1 pv varten + passin jonotusta varten)

Pakko käydä portilla itse. Eivät lähetä mitään minnekkään postitse, eikä käsittääkseni saa lähettää ketään muutakaan noutamaan tavaroita puolestasi. Eli itse joudut sinne menemään...

Miten tuon kakkospassin hankkiminen olisi mahdollista?

Yey for Anette  Isn't it pretty? :)

Hi all-

Thought I would poke my head in here - although I don't speak finnish so the last few posts are way over my head..

Anyhow, my wife is Swedish and I'm a USC. We're living in Stockholm now. We didn't live here long enough for DCF when we applied so we went through the USCIS. We're March files and are waiting the I-864 fro NVC.

Has anyone here dealt with the Stockholm embassy? They seem pretty efficient at most things - how are they with scheduling interviews when the NVC forwards the paperwork?

I've actually been thinking of pulling the app from the NVC all together and going with DCF. Anyone have a timeline for that?

Thanks!

The Stockholm embassy does no longer schedule interviews at all. That is now done by the NVC (I was among the last ones whose interview was sheduled still at the embassy - the Helsinki one - now they've stop doing it altogether).

What?! That's a bad idea! You're almost done with the CR-1/IR-1 visa! You only have to return the DS-230 and what you have left of I-864 paper work (the financial support packet). After that the NVC shedules you an interview. Based on your timeline it'll be a January 2008 interview so quite soon. Then you just get the documents the Stockholm embassy requires and go to the medical and the interview and that's it. If you stop that process and start from the start I don't think you can get everything thru in just two months at the Stockholm embassy since you need to send the I-130 in again and gete a new Adam Walsh clearance and all that stuff... If I were you, I would just hurry up with my paper work for the current visa (which is about the best visa the US issues) and then wait for it to complete...

Stabu,

If the Embassy in Stockholm don't schedule interviews any longer, what does it means really? I mean just do not schedule? Or... they don't interview any one there? If so... then where?
