Hi there...

I have 2 visa application I-130 (immigrant) and I-129f (non-immigrant or K3). My husband filed my I-130 last September 2008, after 2 months (nov. 03) he filed I-129f which is the non-innigrant after 3 months (January 27)my immigrant visa has been approved and the USCIS forwarded to the NVC and NVC sent as a letter about agent.

After 1 month (Feb 24, 2009) We recieved a mail from USCIS the letter contains an approval of my paper for I-129f and they said they will forward it to the NVC and the NVC will forward to the USEM in makati. They said we should wait for 2-4 weeks to get my letter of appointment which what im waiting right now. It's almost 3 weeks now and my husband havent recieved the letter I just wanna ask if are howlong will it really take and are we near or still in a lng process..

Have your husband call NVC to get a status. They will be able to tell you if they have forwarded it to the USEM or not. It took about a week for that to happen in out case. We did not get the letter from NVC until about week 2+.

Let your petitioner call the NVC to make sure. Here is the #.

If you have the case # for I129F, then you can call 202-663-1225 .

Option 1

Option 0

They would be able to tell you whether the petition / case has been received by the consulate in Manila. If "yes" then has the consulate generated packet 3 and has it been sent to the beneficiary.

Good luck !

Tell your hubby to call NVC tomorrow to verify your status. Once the representative told you it is already in Manila. You can schedule your interview. If your calling in a call center they will tell you to wait for the letter from the Embassy and just simpy reply " Some beneficiaries didn't get anything from USEM". Be nice when you ask something and they will give you an appointment. I hope your hubby received the NVC letter in the mail.

Your husband muna patawagin mo sa NVC to get your case # kasi rude sila if beneficiary tatawag. He needs to have receipt no. of I-129F ,both your birth of date and full name itatanong yan ng NVC representative.Pwede ikaw tumawag kung magpapa schedule ka sa interview sa USEM, prepare a piece of paper and a ball pen to jot it down kasi mabilis magsalita ang call center agent.
