May not have the right divorce papers

my U.S. fiance sent me all the papers i will need for the interview in montreal .. thats coming up this thursday. but when i was looking at the divorce papers they are all there but they look like they are copies its hard to tell .. there is a seal stamp and another stamp on them but i cannot tell if they are copies or not .. she tells me tht is what she was given to her by her lawyer and now that my interview is so close there isn't time to get to the clerks office and get them sent to me .. so guess my question is if the consulate office doesnt't accept what i have what will happen .. i'm not going to reschedual it's too close

If they want to see anything you don't have, they'll delay issuing the visa until you provide it. However, the petition would not have been approved in the first place, if the appropriate divorce documentation was lacking. Copies in the beneficiaries hands are primarily for reference.

It is very uncommon to get an orignal divorce decree in the US. The court usually keeps the original in their file. What you have indeed is a copy, but it sounds like a certified copy, which is acceptable. If it hsa the raised seal on it, then it is a verified certified copy, which is just as good as the original.
