We have a high surf advisory today. So we went to check it out last night and this morning. I told Chris to stand on a rock where the waves were breaking so I could get a picture. He didn't want to. So I called him a sissy-pants. So he did it, and of course right at that moment the biggest wave of the morning crashed up underneath his feet.

Fortunately he didn't fall in.

This is just 8 minutes from Pahoa town on the eastern shore.
