i paid my $400.00 visa fee..

and need to send this in

Ds 230 part I an II ----- done

2 photo -------done

Mar rage Certificate Notarized -------done

birth Certificate Notarized with translation ------done

copy of passport 2 pages notarized -------------done

Police Certificate Present location----------------done

police Certificate 2nd location she lived ----not done

police Certificate 3rd location she lived----not done

passport office pcc --------------------------not done

my divorce certificate (Petitioners ) i don't think they need it rite???

Question i have is should i send all the stuff that is done now ..or wait for the otherpolice certificates and than send it in... i am just trying to make it quick

Also let me know if i am missing something thanks

NVC will forward the physical file to the embassy and it will be given back after the interview.But make sure to make 2 copies of each document.One set for petitioner,one for applicant.

Singh IS kings, you are great man.

lets do it one by one.

1. DS-230 don't sign on part two.

2. NVC will not accept notarized certified copies, you need to certified them by Issuing agencies. Like municipality for DOB or marriage registrar for Marriage certificate.

3. No need to notarized the passport photocopy

4. Need to get PCC only from you District Police Station (DSP Office) and if you have stayed outside India for more than 6 months other than USA. than you need to get one from concerning embassy.

5. PCC from Local Passport Office. they will stamp on your passport and will give a PCC also (If passport is older than 6 months)

6. YES they do need Divorce certificate. Original or certified from issuing authorities.

also pcc i got one from district office (SP OFFICE) my wife staying in 3 different location in india after the age of 16 .. so i need PPC from all the 3 places rite....? and i need pcc from passport offie

and last thing.. they do not need divorce papers because i go divorce not her .. i am the petitioner

check Lingchen or james shortcut.

1. Don't send Notarized it doesn't matter from where they are Notarized. (you will get 100% RFE if you do that). Send Either ORIGINAL or CERTIFIED COPIES from ISSUING AUTHORITIES not Notarized.

2. I Lived in Haryana, Delhi, Bangalore but i send PCC from local police station only. one is enough (Delhi embassy has old thread if you are reading from there)

3. If you don't send the original or certified copy of Divorce you will get an RFE. If you don't want to send its upto you than.

but should i change the marriage certificate because it notarized also the copy of passport and birth certificate .

ON MY certificate it says notary yumunager disctrit.. it that worng.. so place should i got to get certified .. please let me know

My recommendation would be to wait to send the DS-230 package until you have all of the required documents. To save time the NVC will accept color scans of the Police station and Passport PCCs. Myself and others have used this technique to get our cases completed at NVC, and our spouses will take the originals to the interview.

You are missing the Passport PCC, if you do not send it, NVC will send you an RFE.

You should send originals, and an additional photocopies. Photocopies that are notorized don't mean anything to NVC. If you don't send Originals you will receive an RFE asking for them.
