@@@ Charli...

You can get a certified copy of that and have it notorized. The NVC will also returned you the ORIGINAL once interview is completed. Here is an example of my interview letter. It will states there that they have your paperwork or you will need to bring it to the interview.

NOTICE TO VISA APPLICANTS

Case No:MNLXXXXXXXXXX

Applicant Name:JOCEL

Visa Interview Requirements

JOCEL must bring the following to the visa interview:

* Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted to the

NVC

* The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by the

physician

* The correct size and number of photographs

* Valid passport for all traveling applicants

The following table lists the documents requested by the NVC and whether or not the NVC

received them. Please note that even though the applicant may have provided the NVC with

a copy of a document, the applicant is still required to bring the original document to the

visa interview.

Carlos and Jocel,

Thank you for your reply so it's mean if I send my orginal civil's documents to the NVC,they will send my documents to the embassy and I do not need to prepare them again at the time of interview?

am I correct? I forgot to say that I filed for CR1.
