hello vj members... Just wanna share this situation. My cousin was a US citizen. He live in US for over 20years. When my cousin had a vacation here in the Philippines he fall inlove with the girl he met here then on his second visit they got married here. My cousin start to collect all documents for his wife petition. The problem start to arise because my cousin had a accident before and they just put a brace on his back. Even its hard He is working now to support his family but without the knowledge of US government because if the government knew that he is working he might lost his pension. He cannot lost his pension too because sometimes he cannot work due to back pain. He cannot declare his income from his work So he didnt reach the income requirments for his petition. He has a tax refund but for sure its small because it's just came from his monthly pension. My question is.... Can he make my auntie as his Co-sponsor? My auntie has it's own family too but she reach the income guidlines. If he can make my auntie as a co-sponsor can my cousin allowed to make petition even he is only a pensioner? Another question too... Can we used and fill up the forms we download here then submit on uscis? Thankz. God's blessing always be with u.

Some COs at USEM seem to have recently increased denying co sponsors for K1s. It's a ####### shoot .

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

according to what you said in the post why would he be filing a K-1 visa? If he married her already then it would be K-3 or CR-1. and in that situation a co- sponsor is allowed.

And if he does use a co-sponsor he would still fill out a I-864 as well as the co sponsor (I-864 or I-864a depending) Then what he was short in his available income would be made up by the co-sponsor.
