be honest now you know its democrats that control that state regardless to Arnie. It was the same nonsense when Gray Davis was in office.

You guys use the same excuse for everything. Face it, the Republicans made a series of errors that have helped fuel this cirisis. It is going to take a combined effort to solve it. The sooner the morons figure that out, the better it will be for all of us.

You guys, for whatever that means. I have never made excuses for Republicans in office you just assume that because I am conservative. Republicans in office are just as corrupt and thats why I think the smaller the government the better off the people will be, we dont have that kind of thinking coming from California. California is a very good example of why we dont want to grow government.

Arnie's a Republican? Could have fooled me...actually, he fooled everyone who voted for him; he ran as a Rebublican, but then abandoned the principles on which he campaigned.

I wanted a second driveway on my property, but the city only pays for one, so hired a guy to install a culvert, just two came out and were done in less than a couple of hours, moving so traffic could pass. City installs a similar culvert in an empty lot next door, had about twenty guys standing around, blocked off my road, and took over two days to install that culvert.

And we wonder why our taxes are so high.

Simple solution. Allow the illegals to perform government jobs. They work for pennies on the dollar and without benefits. Cali will be back in the black in no time. Everyone whose out of a job can just sell their extra Hummers and 4th homes.

yeah but then we just have a bunch of unemployed ex-government workers with no other skills holding signs saying "will create headaches, unnecassary paperwork, and endless waiting for food".

Itz EZ to bash on Calif. Gov't workers, but I know a lot of them that work hard and put their life on the line everyday, so our great state will be safe to walk the streets in. I bet at your work site, that there are good and bad workers. Itz only human.

Well considering I survived the 5% workforce reduction at my company and was recently promoted, I feel pretty fortunate. There's always rumors about more cuts, but supposedly the industry is recession-proof. If house prices keep going south, I might actually be able to buy a decent one.

I always think about the "plan B" in case everything does fall to pieces.
