1. It's relative. Sometimes CSC is faster, other times, VSC. (Right now, it looks like CSC is rolling ahead, VSC is transferring some cases to CSC.)

2. I received mine in 72 days. (I applied for a K-1 though, not K-3)

3. Welcome to the journey!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

California

Depends on which service center. Vermont, figure anywhere from 6-9 months. there have been some freakishly, albeit cool fast approvals out of vermont lately.

In cali, im not that sure, but probably cut off 2-4 months off the wait compared to Vermont

3 I am very anxious and missing my husband badly and praying a lot for whole this vusa process go fast and everything works fine :)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

1. For K-3, California seems to be much faster, especially if your case is put together well and there are no special circumstances.

2. We received Ivonne's NOA2 for both the I-129F and the I-130 on the same day. See our time line below.

3. Read the Wiki and don't make any mistakes in putting your package together. Check the sample forms, dot every "i" and cross every "t" (and PRAY!). If, after reading the Wiki, you still have questions, ask away. There are great people here who have been through every step of the process and are willing to supply solid advice and share your ups and downs. God bless,

RickD
