Could I please get some help in filling out the 601 application. Question #10 -(Reason for being declared inadmissible) I leave this blank until denied my visa at the interview in Montreal, and they tell me why it was denied....right? Question #11 - (previous visits to the U.S.) I've been to the U.S. 30 or 40 times, should I just fill out the 7 lines they have there? and also, up until I was denied entry due to arrest record being found out, I just went back and forth the way Canadians do, so what do I put for "immigration status"?. As of Jan/05 I travelled on my approved I-192, they gave me a card to show at the border. Is that a visa? if so, do I put that down under immigration status? don't know what its called either :-( and last.....I (Alien) can sign this application, right? I don't have to send it to my U.S. fiance to sign? your advice would be appreciated, thank you :-)

Question 10 - yes wait for them to give you the reason

Question 11....on the form list what you have room for and attach a seperate sheet listing the dates you can remember....I also wrote since I am a Canadian citizen and I live close to the border I have entered the US many times.

I am not sure about immigration status...I think I wrote spouse of US Citizen approved 1-30 petition

No your fiance does not need to sign the I-601, but he does have to write the hardship letter they have to be HIS hardships should you not be allowed to enter the US.

Also they made me fill out a new form in Montreal as it has to be in triplicate so they let me copy what I had on the form I downloaded but they did require me to fill out the form they had at the embassy...and they were very good about giving me directions on some of the questions.

good luck

Char
