I posted this yesterday in the general forum, but wanted to get advice from people who have actually had to interview at the Embassy in Ghana. Any advice would be greatly appreciated:

How much proof of relationship information should you submit during the interview? My fiance and I have been together for almost three years. We have tons of emails (probably 600+ between the two of us), a few letters, and phone records, in addition to other documents. My question is, how many e-mails should we submit? Is there such a thing as too much? What about letters and other things? I'm going crazy trying to prepare for this. What is an acceptable/advisable amount to submit? Also, is it okay to black out personal information in the letters and e-mails?

Thanks :)

I am of the opinion that more is better - bringing a huge pile of evidence may impress the CO, of course you don't have to actually present all of it, just a few examples but just the CO seeing the lot of it and knowing 'there's more where this came from' may help you - if they ask for it then you won't have to go digging later. My husband is bringing about 200-300 photos to the interview tomorrow and probably about 300-400 pages of chat records(I didn't actually count but it is almost a ream of paper) plus emails, Pingo records(we did not talk much on the phone), receipts and itineraries/ticket stubs from my trips to see him and lastly WU transaction receipts(which he may or may not show depending on how the interview goes).

I am sitting here cursing the Nepal electric system - some days there are 16 hour blackouts and it is not always easy to plan for it. Govi went to a cybercafe in another area since the electricity in his neighborhood was off, we were chatting about the interview and then he went 'poof' - gone... :crying: I tried calling his mobile but got a message saying it was turned off - I remember in the '03 blackout here mobiles wouldn't work so that was probably it. I will try calling again when he wakes up - the interview is at 1:00 NP time. I think we covered all vital points but don't know if he will be online again this evening when he wakes up and I wanted to give him some last minute encouragement - he has never had to do anything like this in his life and he is very shy.... I so much wish I could be there for him so no matter what the outcome is he will have me there - if we are denied I don't know what I will do but I am praying and thinking positive because now there is nothing else to do...
