Do I really need to explain the reason why I needed AP? How will i do that? I only want have it for emergency purposes incase I need to go see my parents or brother....I couldnt find any format to follow.....

Timeline

The I131 is used for many different applicants (refugees, AOS etc) and that questions is aimed more towards some other classes of applicants where a particular reason is needed to travel.

You can just write what you wrote in the post above.

We wrote "I wish to apply for advance parole and obtain the necessary permission to travel to my home country prior to receipt of permanent residency status in the event of emergency or family illness. I do not have any specific plans to travel at this time."
