AOS Fee & IV Fee payments

I'm in the middle of the process and have received the AOS bill and have paid it online, but now I'm waiting on my husband to get the IV fee bill to pay online since it says to wait to receive this bill before paying it. I can log on and see that it's available, but don't want to pay it because the instructions say to wait for the bill.

In other people's experiences whom have gotten past the DS-230 package, did you wait to pay this fee or did you just pay it when it became available?!

I'm a little anxious and really want to get the ball rolling so responses are greatly appreciated!!

we paid both at the same time. if they are available to pay online go ahead and pay there. don't wait for snail mail.

Before you pay the IV Bill, please confirm that the IV Bill was generated by calling the NVC and speaking to an operator. A few people paid the bill because it was available before the bill was generated, and now are stuck because one system shows it as paid, and the other does not.

do not pay this bill unless you get confirmation that the bill has been generated.

Yeap, it happened to me when I am paying bill before DS230 is generated it. After I am paying the bill online 2 days later showing me is PAID, and when DS230 is generate it, and the system showing me NOT PAID. This will create more confussion after DS230 is generated it, and it will actually replacing PAID to NOT PAID. I have to call NVC operator everyday to check my status. After all the trouble for me. Everything turn out to be good now.

I agree with other posts that u shouldn't pay unless u can verify that IV is generated. It'll allow u to pay online before the IV fee bill is generated, but it'll error out after u make ur payment and will lose few days in process before everything gets cleared. You can search for posts I made and see what I went thru when I paid my IV bills online b4 it was generated.

I paid both bills same time. No issues. Case complete.

In my experience you can pay both bills as soon as you receive AOS package as it has IIN which will allow you to pay both bills same time (one after another) in same session. And time to time you will receive system generated e-mails regarding payment of AOS bill and DS-230. Just ignore it as NVC persons advised me.

Only pay bills when you can confirm that the respective bill has been generated. A few members have reported issues where they paid the bills before they were generated and it caused a delay in the processing of their case. As recommended in the guides, do not send or pay anything to the NVC unless you are requested to do so.
