I signed up for email alerts and I have not received anything, I got a RFE by snail mail but still nothing of an email from VSC. Is this common?

13 February 2009- Mailed I-129F to VSC

17 February 2009- Packet received and signed for by VSC(A. Stanley)

23 February 2009- Check cashed, finally(and away we go)

23 February 2009 - NOA1(dated February 18th)

22 March 2009- Notice of approval NOA2

4,5May 2009- Medical (Passed, 1 more hurdle)

20 May 2009- Interview (PASSED, GOT THAT PINK SLIP)

25 May 2009- CFO

05 OCT 2009- Flight to El Paso, TX

30 OCT 2009-wedding

02 JAN 2010-filed AOS

04 JAN 2010-signed for at 8:52 by CHYBA

01 FEB 2010-Biomerics appointment

02 FEB- touch on ead and 485

26 FEB- EAD and Advanced Parole update approved

06 APR 2010- Interview, 15 minutes, approved!

29 May 2010- Finally Permanent resident card in mail

i've seen many people who get nothing via email, even after signing up for them; however, i got everything both email and snail mail. some people's case status on the uscis website never changes even after noa2. good luck with everything! :star:

wat is snail mail?

Any mail that is physically delivered by the postal service is called snail mail. It gets its name since it is slower than email, fax, etc :-)

Very common.

My wife has been here more than 6 months. She has had her green card for 2 months. Drivers license for almost 4 months. The USCIS lists our I-129f as "received and pending"

ive already recieved my noa2 n my online case says pending still n no email alert at all

Known each other since we were kids ! =]

08/24/08-Engaged

01/10/2009- Sent

03/25/09- NVC recieved

3/26/09- Forwarded to New Delhi Embassy

4/6/09- Packet 3 sent

4/8/09- Sent packet 3 to embassy

4/13/09-Embassy Sent packet 4

4/20/09- Recieved packet 4

4/25/09- Medical - passed =]

5/04-09- Gave paperwork to VFS

5/14/09- Intreview

Approved!!!!!!!!!!

5/26/09- POE at SFO
