I'm not going to go looking for a list. What is your question? If your question requires referring to a list, provide the list or a link to it.

I'm sorry. I don't mean to be difficult and would like to help but I don't understand the context or significance of the list. Frankly, there's no such thing as "approved out of turn". As I've explained before, if "approvals" or "NOA2" were required to be in order of receipt, many cases would have to be held back until those with problems catch up. Nobody wants that, so thankfully, that's not how it's done. Cases can be held up for various reasons at multiple points in the process. Without case details, nobody can tell you what held up any given case in the que.

If a case takes longer, it's for a reason. From the outside, it is impossible to know the reason or reasons.

I've read conflicting reports from USCIS.Gov sites that say only just now are Oct. NVC approvals are being recieved in Guangzhou. The outlook seems bleak. Yet on Visa Journey, I am reading statistics how numerous others from closer to my NVC-2 approvals are getting P-3's already, and in some cases, even P-4 interview dates.

On one hand I am gathering I can expect my Jan. 26 NVC-2 to be another 8 months or so....or according to other V/J members, I can expect any day now P-3 to the Fiance.

Please give your input..............Are this .gov sites really accurate?.....or are the timelines given here accurate.....it's very confusing! Mine is K-1 if this makes a difference.........Please help me get a better idea! Thanks in advance!

My story is that once my petition got approved on January 2nd at NVC it took until after I faxed Guangzhou did they then reply. It took over 2 months for me to put into perspective that they were dragging their feet. After 2 months I faxed them 2 different times and Guangzhou then sent my fiance her instruction packet.:innocent:

Thanks for that info.....can you tell me exactly the address you faxed that to?.........Mine was nvc approved also in january (14 )...thought about the fax thing...just didn't think it would do any good...I will reconder it now. If you could, would you e-mail me? mytinnmann@aol.com..

Are you going to have to supply all the income verification for the affidavit of support?..ie: bank stements...letter from employer...401k, etc.?.....do you have this list of stuff? I would sure appreciate it!

My Gal is near Fuzhou....is yours close by?...does she speak English?....thanks................Ronn

DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR FROM THE GOVT. OFFICES

Discussing my case which is exactly at this point, just to show you how different cases can be. Oct. 23 I sent our file out to the CSC. It was a very standard case except that my NOA-2 approval date was Jan. 13, 2009. That is pretty quick. From that point on, only the Dept. of State (and Guangzhou) can tell you if and when the file was received by the Consulate. So during that "lag" time. You wait. Well, I decided to call the Dept. of State yesterday and see if my file was there because a friend with the same NOA-2 OUT date just got their P3 packet and they told me that all they knew was that our file was sent out by NVC on Jan 23, and no other information. Again, it would seem that our file was in the warehouse or waiting in a queue somewhere. Then later that day, my girl calls me and said that some CO called her and wanted to be sure that her American boyfriend properly gave her address so he was sure that the P3 packet he was mailing out would get to her!!! When she told me that, I was like "What? They just told me our file wasn't even at Guangzhou" So like I said Don't believe everything you hear.

Also, has anyone seen the "new electronic DS-156" and other forms? In that section is says you MUST use them but the section for K visas is still the same old style .pdf files. Which ones are we supposed to use? I guess the safest alternative as my friend told me is BOTH.

Oh, one more tidbit, when I called NVC to see if they had any info., they go through an ID verification process. It turns out that the birthday I have always used my whole life is different because some data entry clerk put the wrong birthdate on my electronic file. This means that my birthdate will be wrong in the electronic copy sent to Guangzhou. I did send notarized birth certificates to my fiancee but who knows what I will have to do to fix this. Not much but in a system with so many needles and thorns, an additional one is NOT welcome.

I suspect if you called DOS a day later, the record would show the P3 went out. Usually, case received and P3 out are the same day as both are noted to the database in one action. A few minutes after the phone call to your fiancee, the record would have been updated.
