Still, it's interesting what people perceive they ought be be prepared to do in order to stay employed.

My question is why in the world would someone want to work for somebody else

You only make the money, and have to ask to take off work, and get a small raise per year.

Once you tell work to "Take this job and Shove It"

The better life gets.......

Yes, of course, everyone should be self employed. Right, carry on.

Word.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Trouble is, if it's a good place of employment, those in the know would be aware of the lying and cheating and kick you out to touch. Seems like a pointless thing to do to me.

Bleh, this place is as boring as frick tonight. Where are all the arseholes proclaiming immortality?

What makes you say that?

Honestly? Boredom, mostly.

However, I do think that to continue to lie effectively, over a long period, you have to believe your lies, most people don't, and to top it off, most people need to broadcast their deceptions in order to boast about them so someone good in HR would get to know.

Most people are, bad at lying. The good ones are the ones that sincerely believe their own lies, now that's hard to detect.

That's a great idea and for the most part, I completely agree. However, starting your own business can be extremely difficult. You need funding, something to sell or provide and the overall customer base. Add that to the fact most businesses fail to make money during the first few years in operation and many more fail, especially if it's a small business.

I think the problem with small businesses is that the owner attempts to wear too many hats. You can't work as every position anywhere, regardless of where you work or for whom. Owners need to hire help. Of course, that starts down a catch 22. You need help to earn money, but you need money to hire help. :help:
