Neither of us smoke and never did. If he would have smoked I would not have been with him. In our early conversations I made that very clear when I wanted to flush out for sure if he smoked or not. My dad and grandma smoked a lot and I really hated it. There is not a chance I could be with someone that smokes and absolutely NO way I could handle smoking inside my house.

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

No worse than inhaling toxic factory and car emissions. Not to mention nasty azz farts, body odour, and people who bathe in perfume/cologne, I suppose.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I guess smoking just doesn't bother me all that much...obviously. As far as smoker's breath...it's nothing a piece of gum or Altoids can't cure. Again, I don't like the house to be all smokey but I'm not a Nazi about it. I agree about tobacco smoke being no worse than toxic fumes or b/o. It's not my favorite odor but it's not the absolute worse either. I don't think I could reject a man who is great otherwise simply because he's a smoker.
