Anyone else have Taco Johns in your area? If it's not raining this afternoon, maybe husband and I will walk to the one 2 miles from our house and eat up the calories we burned from our walk on cheap tacos.

Went running this morning. I'm almost used to dragging my butt out of bed at 5 am. I'm liking the routine. Get up, pray fajr, run, come home, watch angel, shower and get dressed on the commercials and then off to work. Habit can be nice.

Must say Rahma that I totally admire you for this routine...it is something that I would love to get into...but somehow always find million excuses...my hat goes off to you...

Hope that everyone has a great day and those who are waiting will get some long overdue answers, phone calls, e-mails...any action is good when one is waiting...

As for me still waiting for my interview with the Court...hopefully will hear from them this week...

Dorothy

 Well, I'm not quite there yet. I was suppose to get up yesterday to do that and sleep in today, but the sleep jinns won over. Hope you hear about the court job soon! :luv:

Well, I think the most important part is that you are putting some real effort and have a plan that you are following...that is where I always fail...implementing a plan that would bring real results...Total lack of self-discipline :( ...

As for my court job...I am all pins and needles...I want to get out and go back to work in the city so much...hate buses in NY  ...

mmmmmm, I love tacos! Never heard of Taco John's. Noura, I have never been able to eat sushi. It looks pretty though.

Hachemi is home from Algiers. He stayed last night with Icey and Yacine (and the kitty). Thanks Icey for taking care of my honey. He got his vaccinations, and his blood work. The Dr had the results from his chest xray from Thursday and it is A-OK. She said she will have the medical documents ready next weekend for him to pick up. He says when he has them in his hands, he will then call the embassy for an interview appointment. We are getting so close. I am getting sooo nervous. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

touched, touched, touched, touched woohoo....I'm excited. I checked USCIS today and saw that our AP and EAD was updated yesterday! Maybe they will send us to CSC??? I sure hope so. Anyway I have a phone interview at 3pm this afternoon with a group called Grassroots Campaigns - to be a lead organizer. I am super excited and really hope that something comes out of it. We had an ultrasound this morning and saw the (SINGLE) baby! Youssef almost started to cry. Our exact due date is January 6th - which is ironic because that is the day I left Marrakech after the first time I met him (it will be 2 years from the date). Anyway I'll post back later and let you know how the interview goes.

maybe your pregnant?? lol jk. Anyway ladies the dr. appt went great - we saw the baby. Youssef told me yesterday "it's not a baby yet, it's just water" and i told him "ok just wait until tomorrow" Well it looks just like a baby and you can see the heartbeat and everything. I saw him get a little tear in his eye but he won't admit it. It's a little jumping bean though, little dude didn't want to sit still. The interview went really well and they asked me for a face-to-face interview in Minneapolis, late June early July. I'm excited even though the starting pay is only $24,000 but it includes health insurance and 2 weeks paid vacation. Pay and vacation increases yearly - oh plus there is a 1 week training session in Boston or New York that is totally paid for so that's awesome. I'm still keeping my eyes peeled but at least it sounds like there's something out there!
