Hello. I submitted my I-129F to the CSC back in mid November and within a week received my NOA1... but since then there has been no word, no update, nothing. My fiance and I are becoming extremely discouraged. We've started taking it out on each other, finding small things to fight about in our rediculously long separation.

I saw on here some other people that submitted their I-129F in December have already received their NOA2... how is this possible? I am so sad and so frustrated with the system. Do I have any options? I feel that my fiance and I are being robbed of our fundamentally human right to be together.

Any advise? Has anyone else had challenges in their relationship due to this process?

Thank you.

Have you called CSC to see if anything is up?

I am one of those December people who just was approved, all I can say is I followed the guides here on this site, and included all the information requested.

I am surprised it went as fast as it did.

Hang in there - work the problem, don't let it work you!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

If you fill in your timeline you will get an estimated adjutication date based on VJ data. It's usually fairly accurate.

Why some people get approved before others is always a question. No two cases are created equally. There are security checks at every stage of the process and not all adjuticator's are created the same either.

I'm sure you'll hear something soon. In the meantime get everything you need together for the next step! good luck.

As far as getting NOA 2 I would think it could be any day now, what does the vj timeline estimate you will be adjudicated?? - there just isn't any rhyme or reason why some people get approved before others so hang on in there. It is very hard to remember sometimes that in the long term it will be worth the wait. As far as challenges to relationships we have been doing long distance for nearly 2 years and there are good days and bad days. Phone calls and web chats just don't replace actually being with the person you love and fights and frustrations can result. Remember that when you are together you will value every moment even more. Good luck

hi, call and see if they have anything new for u at the service center......as far as the stress of waiting........u guys have to remain strong and remember that the reason u entered into ths unholy process is because u love each other and found that life would be great together.

my relationship has been going on since i was 18 all long distance im now 22 and its been well over a year since we sent in our petition,,,,,,,, im not gonna say that this process does not get on a persons last nerve but just try to remember the reason u both started the process and try to work thru it dont let this broken system mess up ur relationship.........

Its a ####### shoot, really. It seems about 80-90% of people breeze through USCIS approval and the other 10% can be any length of time.

We too have been discouraged that a lot of December filers have been approved, and our petition from mid-Oct is still pending.

I understand the relationship ramifications. My fiance and I actually lived together for years prior to the K-1 submission. Every day USCIS takes longer for approval is causing us heartbreak (both emotionally and financially).

Hope you here something soon.
