Stuck at VFS

Hello everyone,

I was refered to this forum by a friend. I am in a delima.

My wife was asked to bring in police clarification letter from Canada as she had overstayed there. We recieved and submitted the document at VFS in India along with her passport last week and were told by the officer at VFS to pick up her passport next day. But it will has been almost a week and every time she goes to pick up her passport it is not there. We even tried to track it on VFS website which says that they have not recieved the passport.

Does anyone else have same issue or do you know if she will be called in for another interview?

Hello and welcome to VJ.

In order to help you we need more information. You posted in the K-1 forum and mentioned your wife (K-1 is for a fiance) so I assume you are waiting for another type of visa.

I'm going to move this topic to the Embassy forum (from K-1) so hopefully you can get some better help.

Instead of waiting to hear from VFS I say contact consulate and ask them about your case status.
