Timeline

It is not clear from the information I got from the London Embassy whether I should attach photos to the forms when I send them in or whether I just take them to the interview. As there is no where in Liverpool I know of that does the 2*2 photos I am hoping it is the later

21 October 2006 - Married in the mountains of North Carolina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AOS Application

6 November 2006 - Applied for AOS, EAD and AP

09 Decemeber 2006 - e-mail received to say case was trasferred to California

16 December 2006- biometric appointment in Charlotte, NC

20 Jan 2007 -AP approved

24 Jan -EAD approved

28 June -Green card ordered

7 July wedding celebrations in Scotland

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

When i called the embassy to ask them that same question, they told me to send them attached to the forms, so i did...

well I got asked for them at interview and I emailed them before I returned packet 3 and they said

Please submit the DS-156 and DS-156K unsigned, without the original documents. You will be required to furnish all original documents, and photographs, and sign the forms on the day of the appointment.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

In case anyone is interested this is the e-mail I got back from the embassy:

"Please bring the photographs with you to the interview.

You should return the DS-156 forms unsigned to the Embassy. Please do

not attach any original documents to the DS-156K. You should bring these

documents to the interview with you."
