i am a teacher and when i go to the interview with my fiance (i am the USC) i won't have a job. we'll be moving back to the US in july and i can't start looking for a job until i get there. (i've lived and taught abroad for 7 years.)

we have an excellent co-sponsor (my brother) who we'll be living with until we get on our feet.

1. should i bring in pay stubs from my most recent job? i've been teaching for 10 years now.

2. will this negatively affect my fiance's ability to get the visa?

thanks!

kristin

As long as your cosponsor meets the income requirements you should be OK.

You can bring your pay stubs if you want as proof of your income on your I-134.

they are expecting you to emmigrate from your country... having stopped your current employment to prepare for the emmigration is not unusual

YMMV
