Hi to all!! first of all i want to greet everyone here in visajourney a pleasant day to all.. My name is karen and i'm from the Philippines. a year ago i met my fiance online in myspace.com we became friends and since then we chat regularly, we met in person here in the phils July last year. we fell in love and it was the best 2 weeks of our lives. like all of you here in VJ i consider the k1 visa as a chance to be with the person i love in the usa. this is very important to me and i don't want to lie and make mistakes in our papers. i have questions and i hope to find answers from anyone here.

1. i put in my letter of intent to marry that i'm a college student. by that time i was a student when i send it to my fiance. but as of now i stop school but I'm planning to go back to school. is it important that they get a copy of school records by the time of interview?

2. in my g32a i left blank space in my imployment last 5 years cause i haven't work in any company or place. Is it bad to the ajudicator if you have blank spaces in imployment?

thank you for your time reading my post. may God bless us all

1. Not needed.

2. You should put "Student" for your employment.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Exactly Karen:

School records are not needed because the main goal of the USCIS in reviewing your Fiance's petition is to verify that you are engaged to be married. That Engagement is what your fiance needs to provide proof of (plane ticket, phone logs, photos).

Your schooling has nothing to do with that.

If will not even be a material factor when the interview time comes either because the important thing like i said was proof of your engagement to be married. Your fiance will need to provide an affidavit of support which cannot include your income, should you even be making any, or whether in school, regardless.

Just tell them the truth:))
