My husband has a interview scheduled on the 27th of this month in Jamaica, one problem it's for a K3 visa and I just sent in the DS-230 yesterday with overnight mail. How can I cancel the interview on the 27th at the embassy because based on the timing, the I-130 will not reach the embassy in time for it to be a I-130 interview.

I also want to ask when setting a interview date for the K3 visa the letter has his name and his daughters name on the letter. I only filed for my husband at this point does that mean that my step daughter cand possible get a visa, I don't understand.

Do not cancel interviews.

Have him go, even if he doesn't have the information, they will re-schedule probably, or give an RFE.

I can't help you with the second question, I'm not up to speed on that subject.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Mrs. Walker;

NEVER cancel an interview, especially at the embassy in Jamaica. Let me go, if they need additional info, they'll give him a blue slip.

Agreed, do not cancel. You can try and reschedule, or go to the interview without all the info as other members have suggested.
