how to inquire about my package?

hi All,

we sent our AOS package on the 3rd March, via usps. right now we got no information, no NOA , we even do not know if our package arrived at the chicago service center.is there any phone number or means to contact this chicago desk and inquire about our package?.Thanks.

Karl and I made the mistake of sending in our I-129F via USPS the same way you did. That was prior to finding out about VisaJourney and I ended up waiting SIX MONTHS before we found out that the envelope never got the USCIS. That's why every time we have to send documents there now, we use FedEx with signature confirmation. That's a handy way to find out whether or not the USCIS or related offices have received your package.

If you used a personal check to make the fee payments, you might be able to check and see if they have already cashed your check. If that is the case, you should receive your NOA soon, maybe in about two weeks like what payxibka said.

For now, I don't think there's anything you *can* do but WAIT.

hi Thanks for your reply, Yes We sent it with a delivery confirmation receipt. and when we track the delivery number via the web it says the mail is at the unit 60680. isnt that the chicago PO box Address?.Hope was not lost. Thanks.

i believe that ur package didnt delivered yet..coz if they did..the status of your transaction in USPS website would be "delivered".
