we also feel those emotions you mentioned before we started our Visa journey! dont worry your time will surely come!

Hi... I was just browsing and found a quite similar case as yours... I am in need of desperate help...Please help me on this one...I am Hanalei, a US citizen who filed a fiance visa for I-129F at Vermont and received the NOA1 on December 16,2008. It's March 12,2009 and still haven't received my 2nd NOA. I called the USCIS and asked them why it was taking so long and they said at this moment they are processing those that filed on May 12, 2008. That seemed really strange to me when I saw yours filed on November 2008,a month just ahead of mine.My question would by why yours was processed already while as a matter of fact they said that they haven't gone beyond May and are still checking those of May 2008. Please help me on this one. I am located in Jacksonville, Florida and I have a baby and husband in the Philippines whom I miss so badly... Thank you... I'm happy for you! God Bless (L)

As most find out in this journey, there really isn't any rhyme or reason as to why somebody gets processed before you do when you might have filed at the same time or even sooner than they did. I wouldn't get worried about getting the NOA2 until 6 months has passed. This is a long tedious process for most of us. Don't worry, you are in good company. We are all going crazy here!

Ok i feel what you are saying, but waiting is just part of the game, those people that got thiers already let them be happy, and the rest of us just sit on the sideline and wait for our name to be called to go into the game, in the meantime prepare ourself and be ready to move when the light is on us, so trust me i see your side, just look at the way the people here have rallyed around you and encouraging you to hang on we all are in this together on the same team.

Yes, there are some days when I get so frustrated with this whole process I just want to scream! Sometimes venting is good for the soul.

This site is great for learning and finding support. It is also a double edged sword as you will see people who filed around your time or after you get approved and it is disheartening. Alot of people understand that.

Anyone who responded negatively to your post, well maybe they just misunderstood your point ??

I took it as venting, because Im sure you know that it really is important to see people getting approved. Its a pretty good gauge as to what the service centers are working on, and its really good to see people getting to the end of this part of the process. Like some others said..it is HOPE. Also, once you read peoples posts, their desperation, their struggles, their love story; you will be sincerely happy for them when they get their approvals. :)

You will always find people who want to argue and fight on this site as you will in any "small" society. Take what is useful and leave the rest

Take care and it will come,

and I for one will give you a few of these:  on your "approval" thread :D

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

FINALLY! A PERSON WHO UNDERSTAND A SIMPLE "OPINION"! AM I TRYING TO CREATE AN ARGUMENT HERE? IF POSTING AN OPINION MEANS AN ARGUMENT TO ALL OF YOU? TO ALL THE PINAY WHO COMMENT ON THIS AND TRY TELLING ME HOW JEALOUS I AM, TOO CHILDISH, TOO IMMATURE....ALL THOSE FREAKING NEGATIVE COMMENT....SALAMAT! NOW I KNOW HOW INSONCONSIDERATE YOU ARE TO OTHER PEOPLE FEELINGS. YES,I ENVY THEM...WHO DOES NOT?! BUT I AM JUST STATING MY OPINION...."OPINION"! MY OWN POINT OF VIEW....WE ALL HAVE OUR OPINION...AND IM ENTITLED WITH ONE!

LOOK AT YOURSELF, TELL ME WHO IS ACTING IMMATURE HERE? DID I POST "HIT ME UP AND ARGUE WITH ME?" NO! IT CLEARLY STATED "ITS JUST AN OPINION"......AND I RESPECT ALL OF YOU WHO COMMENT ON MY POST...NOW I KNOW!

AND TO THOSE WHO PRIVATE MESSAGE ME UNDERSTANDING WHAT I FEEL AND JUST DONT WANT TO POST OR REPLY....THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING....AND YES, I BELIEVE YOU DONT NEED TO REPLY HERE....COZ PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT "OPINION" MEANS MIGHT "ARGUE WITH YOU".............

KEEP POSTING....I APPRECIATE IT! LIKE WHAT I SAID AND WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE POSTING "I/ WE DONT CARE" (THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL POSTING?..HMMMM)

I AM HAPPY TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO'S VISA WAS GRANTED! (and envy them as well.....) and I am not against those people posting that their Visa was granted, that they recieved good news with their visa process.....

BUT....will it be better if you can just post topics that can help other people who are waiting and almost hopeless people waiting for their visas? or other topic that can be useful while waiting for the visa? (example: What are things you need to know? to prepare? to expect?..blah..blah!)

I know we are all happy for you...but will it make us feel better? I don't think so....coz as for my part it would make me feel more desperate to be with the Love of my Life...coz majority of the topic is "finally, received my visa", "have an interview schedule",blah blah....but what do they respond to them..."Congratulations!" that's it!

Again,I'm just stating what i feel....hate me..i dont care.....but can we just be more helpful and useful here to others who are desperately waiting for their visa approvals?

Hi there. I understand how you feel. I feel the same way sometimes (only because I am still waiting for my Police Clearance from Japan) but on the positive side, reading this kind of posts give me hope.

that's ok, your time will come and i bet you'll jump up for joy and tell the whole world how happy you are! and you know what? its a good feeling after all those sacrifices and waiting etc, when people congratulate u and wish u all the best... if they/we wont say we get approved then how good would this forum be? it says for its name Visa Journey. a journey from start to finish and even more if you're willing to stay and help others as well in their journey. plus its a good thing to compare dates that way you'll know if you're on the right track etc... God bless

I can see where your goin. :) But as what others said, all of us have the same thing in common. We will all pass this kind of process its just that sometimes, chances are much favorable to others. As to me, I don't feel deprivation just because I'm not yet done or even near to have an interview schedule just like others. Why? because at the very moment that I said I love you to my boyfriend, now My wonderful husband I know that I will have to go through lotsa pain, feeling hopeless, disappointment, so much anxiety, and patience is even eating me alive just so life is worth living with him. But all I'm doing right now is to spend quality time with my family, close friends, and really enjoying all the things that I won't be able to do when I'm already with my hubby in his country.

Just be patience. Its just like a conveyor. One will soon be at the end of the conveyor belt and the others are just starting to get to the end.

I'm sure a lot of people the same way. Thats why a lot of the forums have a seperate "progress" forum so people who don't want to see "I'm approved" all day they can just steer clear of it. Hard to do in a Regional forum though. Just remember yours will come soon.
