Its an open forum.

If you don't like what someone has posted then don't read it. Simple.

When you get your approval won't you want to share it with everyone?

People post their visa approval not just to get congratulations. There are so many who keep in touch with each other and so they post to let others know. Sometimes it is not just a "I got my visa" post, but also a nice description of how the interview went and that can go a long way in helping others.

Oh well, we all have our moments. But everyone here deserves a CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK messages on their posts, just like what other VJ people said. They are just sharing their happiness to show that there is hope and faith from this looong freaking wait to be over. I joined this site when I already got my letter from US Embassy with my case number. No one could ever explain how much stress and insanity i went through from the day my SO went back to states. That was almost a year, do the math! But it never cross my mind to act like a 5th grader who piss and whine why my process is not yet going the way i wanted to. Everyone who posts here on some point would help each member. You just have to SEARCH for the answers to your questions. There's the SEARCH BOX on top! If you can't find it post a question, for sure there are people here who will answer and and guide you on your question. No one should act pissed and irritated on the happy posts. We all go through the same pages of the book. LET US ALL BE AN ADULT.

I AM HAPPY TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO'S VISA WAS GRANTED! (and envy them as well.....) and I am not against those people posting that their Visa was granted, that they recieved good news with their visa process.....

BUT....will it be better if you can just post topics that can help other people who are waiting and almost hopeless people waiting for their visas? or other topic that can be useful while waiting for the visa? (example: What are things you need to know? to prepare? to expect?..blah..blah!)

I know we are all happy for you...but will it make us feel better? I don't think so....coz as for my part it would make me feel more desperate to be with the Love of my Life...coz majority of the topic is "finally, received my visa", "have an interview schedule",blah blah....but what do they respond to them..."Congratulations!" that's it!

Again,I'm just stating what i feel....hate me..i dont care.....but can we just be more helpful and useful here to others who are desperately waiting for their visa approvals?

so this thread meets your suggestion of one that is more helpful and useful eh? :P

+1 Hopefully, you feel better by stating your feelings because otherwise it is a troll post. You are only 4 days into your visa journey.

Instead of being hypocritical and wanting other VJers to do the work, why don't you study the guides. Then try to answer 3 poster's question per day with the correct answer. You will learn much and the time will go by faster.

Hmmm....kindly enlighten me on which part I am being IMPATIENT? and there is a big difference between Demanding or Telling people what to do from just giving giving out opinion/suggestion? Again, I know you'll tell me im selfish or whatever you want to tell me...but there is a "freedom to write what you want to say" and im entitled of it...

THANK YOU for those who understand me, and for those who dont............

I don't know if this has already been said, because I don't want to read this whole thread - however.

There are a gazillion helpful threads in the visa journey community - I don't think they are lacking and although I don't visit it, i'm sure the Phillippine forum is no exception.

It obviously irritates you a bit to see so many congratulatory threads, because you are still waiting. There are two ways to look at them - like you do with perhaps envy and irritation? or as an affirmation that people do go through this visa journey and have the interview and get their visa approved and move to be with their wonderful husband or wife.

I can understand what are undergoing but I think its not the intention of these people who post their happiness when their visas are granted or successful interviews to make you feel down or disappointed. They are just showing you that there is HOPE. Please see the positive side of their posting and not the negativity of your feelings. I am sure your time will come and when that happens... you will also post it here and share it with all the VJ members who will also congratulate you.

I hear what youre saying. It's always just a bunch of "congats" and happy faces. The easy way is just dont click on those topics. And be sure not to make a future thread about YOUR OWN visa approval, because it will be just a bunch of "congrats" and happy faces.

Hey Mariel,

You are Filipino, right? ( well nOt sure if youre the petitioner or the beneficiary, LOL) but I know you are aware of what U saw and read that almost PINOY VJ members had threads like this lately ( Visa approval, etc), You shouldnt react like that, instead you should be thankful that someone really KNOWS how to appreciate things( just a way of extending their thanks and wishes to everyone who really helped a lot thru their visa journey). It was NOT just a nonsense post/ thread, they REALLY mean it Mariel !!! PLEASE try to be considerate with their feelings, ok? As what others told you here, if you CANNOT take it, then leave it...as we dont care either..hey why just dont keep it to yourself???

Were you just trying to DRAW/GAIN more attentions from your fellow VJ members here? (Bato bato sa langit ang tatamaan wag magagalit ...)..It was just a thought :P

i liked seeing approvals and checking they're filing dates so i could estimate mine. i also feel that i've been through this with certain vj members and loved seeing them get approved and let them know when mine was. when i don't see approval posts i feel like the service centers are slow. relax. :star:

I totally agree with this being an indication as to how things are moving at the service cenres. I am probably the most impatient person on VJ, but it has been a huge help to me in terms of estimating my timeline by knowing what is happened to others. Also, I share their joy and happiness and am truely happy for them when they get the good news. I know its hard at first when you first join the line, but I have received an incredible amount of support and assistance from VJ'ers.

The road is a long one, why travel it alone? We are all pretty much going down the same path and we all have to carry our cross, but its nice to know we are not alone.
