Good morning! Think it is to rain a little today. Will be about 75. Flowers are blooming, hummingbirds are out. What a beautiful time of the year!

Will make Wael banana bread today. Can't believe how much he loves sugar! I think it's an Egyptian thing or perhaps a MENA thing!

Good morning. Today has started out a little crazy already. I come in have voicemails out the wazoo and my boss is handing me things to do. He's a nice guy and all but I haven't been here very long this morning and it's starting . I was super late getting in to work today and hate that. I sure hope the day gets better.

Awwwwwwww, my sister is being induced on March 25th Staashi. What's the date for you? Are you going to be induced, c-section or try and go on your own?

It's 9 degrees here. I have one midterm left. I am doing a pizza social today for Alpha Sigma Lambda from 11-4 today and then at 4:30 I have to go report on the faculty sub-committee meeting. After that I am mostly all done for the day.

Waleed is talking about looking for work in Marsa Alam for the summer. He says they may take temporary doctor work since the other places want more long term and it rules him out since we have to be back in Cairo for my school in the Fall. You can see it on the map here on the Red Sea.

It would be nice to be on the sea for the summer. It's Egypt's southern most resort town. It used to be a fishing town but when they built the international airport there in 2001 it became the fastest growing city since 2001. The airport only has one departure gate though. They say it will be the next Sharm el Sheik or Hurghada. Waleed is going on his last break before release in less than 24 hours! :dance: We are so close now!

I am excited for the next batch of honorary MENA babies Staashi and Charles's wife Nessa are about due. :P

Morning everyone! So much going in MENA!

Olivia, getting so excited for you!

Staashi, I feel for ya honey! That last two weeks...I felt like a pod person! I was induced and the last few days, the doctor had me to just rest. I felt like a beached whale honestly. I had to roll back and forth just to get out of the bed!!! :lol:

I also remember talking to our little chickpea everyday telling him how I couldn't wait to meet him. What an exciting time! So excited for you!!!!! :)

Speaking of the little chickpea, getting ready for a BIG birthday party for him this weekend. I have SO much to do still and not sure how I will get it all done. We are having friends and family over for hot dogs and hamburgers. Sounds like it's going to be chilly and rainy. :( But we will still have lots of fun in the house, I'm sure!!!!
