Courier arrived with my passport and visa a few minutes ago! :yes:

Took a long time but it's here now :D

To anyone still going through the process, good luck, stick in and don't give up...it'll happen, just be patient.

A word of advice for anyone still waiting to get their Visa back from the London Embassy.... I was told at the embassy that it would take about 2 working days. I waited 5 without any sign of it. When you call the couriers you'll hear 3 options that don't seem to apply to you at all....ignore what they say and select option 1 anyway. Thats what I did and after speaking to someone for 2 minutes my visa arrived the next day.

Thanks to anyone and everyone who's answered my questions on here...you've been more help than you realize.

Now....I'm off to book a plane ticket! B)

P.S. One last silly question.......what do I do with my chest X-Ray?? They never really told me what it was for at the embassy but I presume I'm meant to hold on to it for some reason.

Congrats on getting your visa in hand. The xray is for when you come to the USA as a guide if you get sick you can show your new doctor so just put it in a poster holder and bring with you. Have a safe trip to the USA.

*12.28.05 applied for a Social Security

*01.05.06 received Social Security card =)

*02.11.06 married....

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
