Is it permitted for the petitioner to accompany the benificiary to the interview? I have so many angles I can argue that she doesn't have a clue about. Any advise would be greatly appreciated...thank you all in advance....RexT

I think it depends on the embassy. I know in some places it is not permitted and in others it is perfectly acceptable, if not required. If it is possible for you to go then even if you're not in the interview with her, you can at least be in the embassy waiting for her. This would show your support for her and your relationship. It can't hurt.

Others might be able to give you more information for Thailand since I'm not sure.

At most consulates, yes. I highly recommend it if you can. I did and don't regret it

While it's completely up to you yourself whether you can or want to go to the interview, it also is important to see if you can enter the Embassy or Consulate at the time of the interview. I'm sure it would say on the website whether this is the case. Given your comment about the "angles", I would suggest if allowed, you'd better be there with her!

All the best!

Better be there.

It is up to consular officer whether he/she want to see the US citizen to verify the relationship.

But if he/she decide to see the spouse, and you are not there, it may delay the approval and/or deny the case.

Given the high risk, you better be there for just in case.

Not every Embassy is created equally. At many it really doesn't matter one way or the other. Some may not even 'allow' the USC petitioner to attend. At some it is very highly recommended.

Even if you are not allowed in the interview, at higher fraud posts it's always a plus for the petitioner to be able to tell the CO that their USC fiance is actually in the Country and prove that by at least showing their passport.

Your best bet is to talk with the folks in the sawasdee thread and ask them. ;)
