I am also a big fan of "manscaping".... I like it when a guy trims and takes care of himself that way. This is what I've heard that always cracks me up: "If you trim the grass, it makes the house look bigger!"

awwwww ,look at how the canadian Forum has brought the women together, its a very touching thread, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Hmm. I am seriously considering trying this before the summer begins. If you guys can do it then I can do it! I'll just wear my superman cape and swim goggles before I go in to feel brave. :P

Do it, do it, do it!! Seriously you'll LOVE the results, I'm sure of it! It may feel wierd at first, but the softness is out of this world! To me, the few minutes of pain is worth it for 6 weeks of smoothness. And I just feel cleaner down there, especially at that time of the month. It's just clean and soft.

I wax my husbands brows on a regular basis. He gets a slight unibrow otherwise. His brother though... nasty brows! SO NASTY! I am so glad I got the good looking one out of the two of them. :P

Yeah I can't really stand unibrows on men either. I think it's OK if a man wants to take charge of his hair situation or let his lady help him out! Some guys think it's "gay" to manscape but I wholeheartedly disagree!

My whole thing, is that thanks to our long distance relationship, you can "let it go"

...I see him once a month, so i see my wax lady once a month, and by that time, there is enough growth for a wax. It's so funny, my boyfriend sees me tanned, waxed and all prettied up once a month....can't wait for him to see me pale, hairy and tired when we move in....hehe j/k

Yep - took me a while to realize that obviously I cannot be perfect at every moment - it always seemed to work out perfectly on our visits. After a year + of marriage I can confirm that last night I had on my work sweater, plaid pajama bottoms..my black work socks and my slippers (which match none of the above). legs have not be shaven for several days and my hair was up in a shabby ponytail and HE STILL LOVES me.

!0 years ago, I wouldn't have been caught dead in this get-up

My Portuguese ancestry means that all my body hair comes in dark and thick. I find it all disgusting and now have a personal vendetta against all hair on my body that is not on my head or my eyebrows. It all gets waxed or shaved depending on whether it's a body part that I can stand the grow-in time for waxing.

I encourage manscaping also so sometimes my husband humours me.

Eh...I don't know. I know it's like the gyno where they see so many that them seeing you ain't a big deal, but I don't know if I want some regular schmuck looking at my va-jay-jay.

I usually just shave it or nair it. I don't like to do those two things as shaving especially makes me a little itchy haha But..I actually like having some hair though.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I am so glad this thread has taken off (pun intended!) ..... YAY!!!

See, now I want to go get a crazy shape waxed, like maybe a lotus flower or something :) Can you imagine? LOL

Still not convinced that the waxing results are greater than the pain quotient, but I love reading everyone's experiences.
