--Somewhat off topic--

So one of my girlfriends called me last night and she wants me to go to Ottawa with her next weekend (day before Easter) 3 1/2 hour drive so she can get her waxxing done. I tried to talk her into going to the girl I go to here...but she also wants to give me a tour of Ottawa, esp since we are moving next month and I have lived here for 4 years and have never been... so I'm pretty sure I will go with her. Just gota make sure hubby is okay with watching the boys, as this will be a kid free trip, Yay!

Any places I MUST see in Ottawa before leaving Canada (aww that makes me sad, just the thought of it) :(

I was going to also say that laser is the BEST way to get rid of hair. I'm sure you can't do it on the nether regions.. but for facial hair.. it has worked sooo well for me (chin area & mustache).. SUPER way to keep hair away for almost forever (until menopause).

Sorry guys, not from Canada, but...

I did laser on my upper lip for a year and now I just shave it...yep, I shave it. The laser did not take off the hair. I buy the little Revlon mini-razers specifically for facial hair and use baby oil - it works really well!

Awwwwwwww. That's so nice. Looking forward to hearing the tips. I haven't been there, either. :o Maybe start your own thread so people who don't read the girly thead can see it.

Okay I did it. I finally waxed. After canceling two appointments I finally did it.

It was painful but a quick pain. I insisted on talking to the girl for a good 20 minutes before allowing her to see my vag... and no I'm normally not that easy but she only had 30 minutes for me.

It took a total of 45 minutes, that included 'getting to know before you before you see my vag' time.

So I feel like I have joined some weird sisterhood... I finally did it. I don't know if I'll do it again.... perhaps I will if I can guarantee the same girl.

 Woohoo, that's great! It's always good to try something once anyway! Yes the pain is quick and ends so fast you barely feel a thing, since it happens so quick.

Yay congrats. Definitely go to the same girl again. I find once I go 2-3 times with the same person it gets easier and easier. I'm actually really sad to be leaving my most recent waxer. She's seriously amazing.

Now I need to find someone new and get comfortable again.

Yea I dunno... I haven't showed my husband yet... I think he's gonna be a little surprised.

I keep going to the bathroom and looking down there though... kind of like how you keep looking into a mirror after you get your hairz did.
