Would a Voluntary Withdrawal of a B2 visa at POE affect my K1 application?

Hello VJ experts!

The CBPOs at the Seattle POE found me inelligible to enter the US and gave me the option to withdraw my visa. However, due to the fact that my boyfriend was military and that we had a trip overseas planned in less than a month they gave me a paroled I-94, valid for a month. Me and my boyfriend decided we want to apply for a K1 visa and get married that way, so I won't have any trouble entering the US again. However, I'm concerned that I might have trouble getting the K1, due to this problem.

Anybody went through this? Do you have any advice for me?

Thank you very much!

It should not affect you since you withdrew it.

The other way - deportation, may have a problem.

But you seem good to go!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
