Maybe it's something to do with the 'earmarks' that are not supposed to exist under the new transparent, open and effective spending of tax payer money....maybe?

Liefde is een bloem zo teer dat hij knakt bij de minste aanraking en zo sterk dat niets zijn groei in de weg staat

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

i'd say they met that goal, just not in the manner most of us expected. and now there's talk about another 100 billion.

Of course. Now keep crying us a river in avoidance of better uses of tax funds.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

i'd have thought you'd have more to contribute to this thread rather than that above. even more disappointment from you.

Perhaps Charles, that is because your political perceptions of other people are way off the mark a lot of the time?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Contribution. Now there's a sly concept from the king of sly in OT. :P

The story is dressed up a bit too - they say $1 in $5 to make it sound more than it is.

$25 million total.

Numbers are what they are.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Maybe they will have a garden in honor of Mary Jo Kopechne . One could hope .

i think an aquarium with her name would be fitting.

Yeah thats one idea but I am thinking something along the line of the ear harbor / WW2 memorial in Hawaii... over top the Arizona. (Isn;t that the ships name?)

Sure; folks could walk right out over the water and look down through the glass floor and see exactly where that poor woman sank to her death.

AS her body assumed water temp Ole Kennedy was already back at the party house crashed out.

You should be ashamed of yourself. That is not a joking matter.

he's not joking. the woman is dead, and a rich guy killed her and got away with it. you or i would go to jail for what he did.

It was an accident. He violated the law by waiting so long to report it. He didn't murder her as you claim. There was not ever a question of murder, it was that he broke the law by his actions after the accident.
