(F) Thank you so much everyone. I'm overwhelmed by all the sweet messages, calls and emails. I can't thank you all enough for the prayers for my Dad. (F)

He's an amazing person and a wonderful supportive Dad (even with his crazy daughter :whistle:). We sat with him last night at the hospital (sneaking in his favorite Chicken Parm sandwich w/ a canoli on the side... :devil: ). After the initial shock and crying we started to plan. Things we can do and see while he is still physically able. We laughed and cried and it was truly an amazing time. He's retaining about 60lbs of water and they need to get it off of him...once that is done he will be able to come home and be with us either today or by tomorrow.

Thank you again for all your sweet words and support. You guys rock! (F) I will be taking lots of pictures with the Dad and the babies and of course I will update them on my siggy!

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to first thank all of you for your support and prayers during my fathers illness. You have all been so wonderful sending cards, texts, emails,etc. I (we) thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Last Tuesday, April 22, 2009, my father lost his battle with liver cancer. He was able to be home with us and we cared for him till his last breath. I'm thankful for the time I had with him, the babies had with him and that he was able to see them born! THANK GOD for those wonderful blessings. I know he is now with my mother watching over me. I miss them both with all my heart.

Oh my, I'm sending my sympathy... or empathy. Really, I feel tears come to my eyes at the idea of losing a father. I'm confident he is in a good place, and I pray that you use and accept all the love and resources you have at your disposal to get you and your family through this loss.

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
