Hi all..my husband and I had our AOS interview in NYC today and we weren't immediately approved because the IO said he had to "check with his supervisor, but this was an easy one"..therefore, I'm expecting good news. I just wanted to start a thread to see how long it took VJers who didn't get approved on site to receive their green card. Was your status updated online and that's how you found out? If so, how long did that take to happen? Or did you just wait patiently for the welcome letter to arrive? (Patience has never been a virtue I possessed..)

5-13-09: Green card approved.

6-24-09: Received green card.

8-13-11: Received 10-year green card.

2-21-12: Sent N-400 to Dallas Lock box.

7-18-12: Naturalization interview (passed!).
