Beneath the space for a signature on the Affidavit sample at:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ost&id=4062

there is another space for "s.s" .. is that for the social security number of the person doing the affidavit for us?

Your link doesnt work on my computer, but S.S does mean social security #, it depends on where it says it. If your filling in intended immigrant information, and it asks for an S.S then, yes it is for the intended immigrant, most do not have 1 unless they have had a visa in the U.S b4, like my husband has, but in our case, he does have 1, and i put that 1 in that space, for co-sponsors, or other general sponsors you would put ur S.S # but that is towards the end of the application.

You may want to update your profile to show "Removal of Conditions" and perhaps home country, Your profile says K-3, yet timeline shows CR-1.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01

Had me a bit confused, K-3 makes me think the affidavit being asked about is an I-134 or I-864 Affidavit of Support.

I didn't have the people doing affidavits for us put SSN as most people don't like to have their SSN shown. Got the 10 year GC without any interview or problems.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Thanks for the replies, btw as to my profile ... I filed for both K-3 and CR-1 but the CR-1 came through first so I went with that. The affidavits I was enquiring about was for the I-751. I tried to update the time line awhile ago but I couldn't figure it out! lol.

Yours is an example why the K-3 is becoming irrelevant.

Note: AOS Approved = Adjustment Of Status, in your case you never adjusted status because you did not adjust from a K-Visa.
