I want to call the CSC to see if ANYTHING has been done to the file. I have no touches, My NOA1 was Dec 11 which on the Immigration history says it's actually roughly today that they are being approved. Can I call the CSC to see if they have done anything with it or will that be a futile effort, I should just wait?

USCIS

12/03/2008...Sent I-130 form

12/04/2008...Papers reached Chicago LockBox (1Day)

12/11/2008...NOA1 (7days)

12/22/2008...NOA1 hard copy received (11 days ~ Heavy Snowfall Delayed Mail)

03/14/2009...NOA2 (92 days from NOA1)

03/24/2009...NOA2 Hard copy received (No touches or web approval)

04/06/2009...Received by NVC (23 days from NOA2)

If you called, doubt if they would tell you anything. According to USCIS / CSC processing times, it says 6 months. You most likely will be told your within USCIS processing times, and you just have to wait. Give it more time, it will come when your not expecting it. Good Luck

Dont forget Waldo that they were out for 2 or 3 days last week for a heavy snow fall so it mught be monday :cry:

Have you seen any progress in your case since it got assigned a case #? I wonder if the entire VSC is just at sleep for rest of the month!!!

It wont hurt calling them, all they can say is we dont have any further information about your case. Also one more thing have you tried checking your case status by registering on USCIS website? You might want to do that and see if that helps you.

We all know the wait is tough but the process is pretty much out of our control.

We had a NOA1 date of August 19 and did not have any action until our case was transferred to CSC Dec 22!! Then it was another month of waiting for the NOA2. USCIS will generally not give you any information if you are within the 6 month timeframe.

Prepare yourself for a 6 month wait and then anything less will be a pleasant surprise. Hang in there :thumbs:

Thanks. I might give them a call tomarrow. Like you say the worse they can tell me is go away... or is it???

I am registered on the USCIS website but I've seen NOTHING and it's just bugging me that nothing has shown up yet.
