No. A lawyer can not do anything that you havent already done. A lawyer would probably just cause this to turn into the unknown because you would have to wait to find out what they had done. A lawyer has no avenue to follow that you havent already been down.

This is a terrible situation & it looks like you have tried hard to get it resolved. Including asking a Senator to help. Its a shame they cant do something in cases like this.

My case was difficult but nothing like this. After mine I had no faith at all in the use of these Senators in these cases. When I read this I wonder what it takes to get any help in any situation.

You're in Phoenix? That's where I'm from and hoping to get back to soon.

Some senators and congressmen have immigration specialist on their staffs that can get more info than anyone. Plus sometimes can get things moving..

Been there, done it more than once.

Lawyers don't have any more "pull" than you do.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

If the senator didn't shake something loose, I doubt a lawyer would be able to so..

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

I am having to do all the followups on our case! my lawyer will only call once a month and now he tells me to give the embassy more time? BS! Do you own followups, for me it's peace of mind.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI
