Quick question regarding USCIS Tracking

Hi everyone,

I know it can take awhile to get the info up on their site, not really worried as we just recieved the NOA1 last week, but I was hoping to sign up for email updates, and unfortunately it appears our reciept number isnt working on the USCIS site. Does anyone know how long it might take to be able to be tracked on there, or how long we should wait to call them to confirm everything is ok? I figured maybe a few days/weeks to get everything updated (as their site seems to behind so often for their processing times) but I was just wondering about other peoples experiances with this.

The USCIS online tracking system is a nice service when it works. Sometimes, however, cases slip through the cracks and your number doesn't lead to any information at all on your case. Just be sure you are logging into the system accurately. Good luck!
