EAD and I-131 approval

Hi: I am completing my medical exams this week and about to send out the package in the next 2 weeks. I am adjusting status from F-1 and my husband is a citizen (did his oath one month ago).

I have two questions regarding to EAD and I-131 (travel). If I am approved for I-131, can I go back to my home country as many times as I need without any applications? (we are trying to set up the wedding ceremony in Beijing). If the immigration office needs more evidence such as financial evidence or evidence about our marriage and whatever, are they going to need it before giving my EAD? (I have a job offer starting this Aug, so I hope at least I can work).

Thank you everyone!

Su

Yes, you can go back as long as you have your advanced parole travel document with you, they will issue a request for evidence (RFE) as soon as they start checking your file if they need more evidence.

Normally it takes around 3 months to receive your EAD and AP, I think you'll be ok plenty of time ahead to solve any issues that may arise.
