Received NOA1 for I-130 and I-129F sent

I received NOA1 for I-130 after 18 days from CSC. For once, I am not complaining that USCIS was slow in sending me the receipt notice, as the delay helped me utilize the new I-129F form.

Now let's hope they restart K3 processing and show some traction.

Hafiz: The more days go by, the more I am convinced to abandon the I-129F. I think, it is wise for me to stick with I-130 only, as my wife won't have to go through the AOS in USA. I filed I-129F with the hope that it would be approved lot quicker than I-130 thus she could be with me much sooner. But that hope ran out of the window. When was your I-130 approved?

your doing pretty much what i hope to be doing in a few weeks, except ill be going to texas then to CA
