Any August/September VSC filers (K3) left ?

It is unusually quiet in the NO touches and NO approvals thread and so I was wondering if I was the only active August/September filer on VJ. It sure would be nice to have some company in what will be hopefully be the final stretches of this excruciating wait.

I would love to know what is going on with Vermont also I sent my I130 in in July and the I129 in the begining of Sept have not heard a thing I just wonder what is going on i sit here and read peoples post and feel their pain this wait is awful to have to be apart from your loved ones inshaAllah our waits will be over soon

I would have to guess that your case is delayed because of some background checks. But it is quite frustrating to see VSC whip out approvals in a month and half for people who applied in Jan 09 (not just standalone I-130 but also a case of I-130+I-129F) while they let people who applied 7-8 months back rot in hell. I know we have not waited as long as some people on this forum but our patience is already starting to run out.

Well, there is Joey (joseph loves wife) on the other thread but no one else from the August/September timeframe ? I sure hope LUCKY THURSDAY turns out lucky for us because I am starting to get to the end of my rope with this long wait with no end in sight.

I thought K3's could go to USA and live there while all the processing was being done??????

I must be wrong if all of you are waiting just as long as we are

Spouses of U.S. citizens, and the spouse's children, can come to the United States on non immigrant visas, K3 and K4, and wait in the United States to complete the immigration process.

Typically it takes longer for K3 spouses to make it to the US than K1 fiancees. K3 spouses can come to the US on a K3 visa and await processing of their green card. But since it takes almost the same amount of time to get the green card (CR-1/IR-1 visa) in their home country the K3 is turning out to be a useless visa (that only serves to delay things if not anything else - lately standalone I-130 applicants who intend to pursue CR-1/IR-1 have been getting approved a lot sooner than K3 applicants).

It's almost been a year for me and my fiance, we wanted to wait long enough for her BC to get corrected before we filed.
