If you can go there for the interview, do it. The more visits, the better.

Presenting the fact that your father is one source of income may not be a good idea especially if he has had such a seriouse medical problem. His ability to generate income coupled with the hospital bills could impact your ability to support your fiancee.

The government has set the standard to meet in these cases. That standard says that you must have met her at least once. Anyone with a brain can understand that more would look better but it isnt required. However as in your case it may not be possible. If you can be there at the interview it may help but by that time they have reviewed the documents & basicly make their decision based on that & questions directed to her, not you.

That's what I " thing" . The " ding" would come from your use of the English langauge not frequent flier miles.

Thanks Ricker

YOUR right as in other reply about being more clear.Yes of course I know more trips the better,I should

have asked the question different I was wanting to know how many people in thai embassy passed with only

one visit verse's people with many.Thats what I meant by (ding )I was married to a girl from singapore

for 11 years and we never needed all this at this stage of relationship. She could come and go as she felt to the u.s

when ever she wanted. We only needed to go to interview in san fransico after she had been here a year and we were already married. And they only asked for tax returns, marriage cert, how we met done!

So maybe other poster was right they have already made up there mind already by the time we get to interview end of month.

And if there were a lot of people failing with just one visit we would try to be stronger in making a case in that

area..BUt by the tons of post i have seen since looks like this interview is going to be really hard.

thanks agian everybody that has posted

and good luck to all

Chris

Many people meet only once before filing the I-129F. They support the relationship with photos when they meet, pictures over the Internet, e-mails, and phone calls. They have no problem getting through the process. I only went once to meet, get engaged, fill out the papers, and come home. I understand more trips can be better, but as long as you have a lot of documentation, then I personally don't see a problem.

Good luck on your journey.
