So my wife filed a I-751 with our daughter as co-applicant. We paid the correct fees, they cashed the check, but the letter they sent to us did not include our daughters name anywhere.

Will this cause any problems when we travel outside the country after the initial green card expires?

Anyone have any experience with this? They came on a K1 and K2 visa respectivly.

K1 Visa Process long ago and far away...

02/09/06 - NOA1 date

12/17/06 - Married!

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

Your daughter should get a separate plain letter shortly. At least mine did.Maybe within 2 weeks.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Same here, we received two letters, one explaining our daughter will be treated separately, then her one year extension, forget about traveling, they need that to stay in school, legally. Oh the frustration.

It has been about 20 days and no letter.

What is the next logical step? Infopass appointment?

Thanks

You did add her name to this part?

Part 5. Information About Your Children-List all your children (Attach other sheet(s) if necessary)

That screwed me up as you only add the kids that have the conditional card, unlike that N-400 where we had to list ALL the step kids and only listed the alien, whereas in the I-751, they only want the kid with the conditional green card, but use the word ALL in both forms. I had to resubmit the N-400 with all the names listed.

I included that one daughter in the cover letter, Removal of conditions for my wife, full name exactly like in her I-485 with a copy of that and alien number and the same thing for our daughter in bold print. Also a copy of her green card, both sides in color, her SS card, her drivers' license, and her grade transcripts with the same address as ours. That is all I had on her. Daughter received a letter stating she is included on her mother's application, and her own biometrics appointment, at a different time that we managed to squeeze her in since it's a 430 mile drive for us, and her own one year extension notice.

I appreciate your responses.

I am not necessarily "worried". I did everything correctly, I am sure. Eventually it will get sorted out.

What I AM "worried" about is I gave the USCIS alot of money, and all I need is a proper reciept. I need it so I can travel this summer with my daughter and fufill obligations.
