unfortunately my wife is from gujarat and so we have to deal with the stupid bas**rds in the ahmedabad office...so thats the only thing i'm waiting for....but won't be able to get it until the DS-230 is generated

Sorry to hear that dekagunda. My husband is also from Gujarat and his passport was made in Surat. He's just been staying in Bangalore since 2005 so we're hoping we'll be OK with Banglore's PCCs for both district commissioner and passport office.

PCC from Commissioner's office in a week. Not to offend anyone, but if you've someone local to go with you to police station, it helps a bit in communication (my husband can't speak any south Indian language).

PCC from local passport office, applied in Bangalore passport office on 6th of March, no word yet. My husband plans to pay a visit tomorrow to see what's the status on it.

Luckily, for my husband, they did not require any immigration paperwork (like NOA2 letter, DS-230 checklist or anything like that). So we went after PCC first thing when we got approved. People in Gujarat are having hard time because they require something from NVC before they process PCC.

From what i've read if your spouse scan's it and emails you the PCC you can print it out on a color laser printer and that should suffice.

Yep, I've heard that too. If we find out tomorrow that it's another two weeks for us to get PCC, then we might do that.

Mine is also more towards right margin and I've two pages (only bar code on second page). None of the text are cutoff though. I don't know how to add image here in the forum. I would have liked to add attachment or something
