It only took three months to get an approval for the I-130?

some couples got their approval after 5 or 7 months... it depends.. we got approved after 3 months

06-25-2013 USCIS mailed the NOA1


06-28-2013 USCIS mailed the Biometrics appt


07-01-2013 Received NOA1 and Biometrics appt letter

People have been getting approval very fast lately. I got my approval in 40 days and I read someone's post where he/she got approved in 10 days. So, "fast approvals from VSC/CSC but slowdown in NVC" is the latest trend. Of course, this is not always true though. I hope those ppl who have been waiting the longest gets approvals soon too.

I called NVC today and spoke to live operator. She said that it takes about a week for them to send out their packets to us..so I guess we will only hear something towards of end of this week or next week.

Lawyers usually give you wide range of time period so you dont keep calling and bothering them, but your case should reach NVC hopefully by today tomorrow. Keep calling NVC thats the only way you will find out.

I dont think I will have to do the DS-3032 because I am working with a lawyer, so he is the agent.

Lawyers usually give you wide range of time period so you dont keep calling and bothering them, but your case should reach NVC hopefully by today tomorrow. Keep calling NVC thats the only way you will find out.

Can anyone please advise me what should I do?

I send DS 230 without attaching any original documents. After few days I called them to find out the status. They told me that NVC has completed your review and need all original documents. So I requested to send RFE on email/mail. Since one (1) month I am waiting for that RFE and requested several times since then. There is no response.

Can any please advise me what should I do? Should I send all documents with cover letter and “Print copy of online bill payment cover letter”

I would really appreciate your advise

I have not yet come to the DS-230 step yet, we are all waiting for the packet from NVC. Maybe try writing in another forum where people have been approved or a DS-230 forum.
