Congrats Ben and Ash!!! I haven't checked the site this weekend (selfishly since I had mine complete :() well and my folks are in town too - busy, busy. Greate news. You'll probably get your interview before us now :)

BTW, out of curiosity, how did you answer question 22, "In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States," in the DS-230 form? For my husband, we put something related to his last job (hotel management). I'm just curious if we should just leave this vague and write "To be determined or not sure yet"?

I put what he's doing now.

And what about question 34, "Were you assisted in completing this Application?" We wrote my name as I assisted my husband in completing the form. Is this okay?

I put my name. I filled it out with him.

Dated since 2004, 10/22/2008 Married in NY, wife left the country, returns on 01/06/2009 as a visitor (granted stay until July 2009)

01/15/2009 Sent I-130 package for CR1 to Chicago Lock Box, 01/19/2009 USCIS Chicago received the application

01/26/2009 USCIS sent out NOA1, 01/28/2009 Moneygrams Order cashed

02/24/2009 Case is in Vermont Processing Center (told by the USCIS by calling the free phone line)

03/02/2009 NOA2 mailed, application approved!!!! (47 days since we mailed I-130 package)

03/05/2009 NVC Received Case / Case number assigned

03/12/2009 DS-3032 / AOS fee bill generated and e-mailed to us, 03/12/2009 I e-mailed and snail mailed DS-3032 and paid AOS fee bill online

Before i go to sleep this morning, i called the NVC - and i heard (AVR) that we still have missing documents on financial....

After 10 hours, i called again to try if the status in AVR are still the same....

What i heard is: YOUR CASE WAS COMPLETED ON APRIL 30, 2009!

We're praying that our case will be complete before the month of April and GOD answered our prayers.

I got my interview date - June 16, 2009 8:30am... I am worried coz i bought a ticket to Cebu from June 16 to June 19.. Can i reschedule my interview date?

07-01-2013 Received NOA1 and Biometrics appt letter
