We've all gone crazy at one point or another. I love it when my work is super-busy because that means less NVC number dialing and hearing the same boring message.

You should just include some proof of emplyment for your co-sponsor that includes his title and annual salary.

My co sponsor is a seaman - he used to work in a different boats.. He has so many W2 forms with him.. HE started to work last October 2008 then he went home this February 2009.. So at this time - he is still waiting for a call from their agency and he has no work at this time.. I'm totally confused...

I hate RFE... i just want our papers to be totally PERFECT!

Regarding my co sponsor, since he is working in a ship - there's no exact information when is his next job since he is just waiting for the agency to call him for work... How does it goes??? We have no estimate amount for his all in all income for 2009... What should we do???

Jiksat I am not a tax expert, but I would think u would include 2008 not 2009. I am pretty sure but best to ask NVC directly.

Just talked to an operator. She said our I-864 was fine - reviewed and done. She said corrections were needed to our DS-230 and that originals were needed of some civil documents (birth certs etc). I told her I had sent originals and copies. I can only assume we made an error on the DS-230 (we did fill in all the "PRESENT" fields etc).

She did say they had received a package on 04/08/2009 that was being reviewed. Since we only sent one package for the DS-230 I assume they are still reviewing it. She sounded like it was possible that we may not really have an RFE (certainly for the docs), but that that was marked until the review was finished.

Basically we are to wait until we get an e-mail/letter in the next couple of weeks. I don't know whether to be happy or not. I guess I don't know much more except that at least my I-864 was fine Let's hope when I call back tomorrow (not 2 weeks) I'll know more!

I thought I was crazy enough lol hahahahaha u guys are funny! Maybe I should join the "call the AVR every hour club" Glad to be able to laugh it away cz inside I am boiling but trying my best to stay super calm...

he could sum up what he earned so far for 2009. then divide it with the number of weeks in 2009 (so far). and then multiply that number with 52 (number of weeks in a year)....hope this helps...

Jiskat, if that is the case then 2008 might be best in my opinion. Im not sure though. Please call NVC and ask specifically what you should do.

I don't think it is an RFE. It seems like they just have not processed the DS-230 yet. Here's what it says:
